The architectural design of this project inspired in functionality, was conceived with a sharp sense of scale and precise space, within the actual context of La Salle University. The parts that comprise it are assembled by a structure that comes from a solid concrete volume that anchors the work to the field; the visible structure gets materialized in metallic columns that because of balance and function are the strong part of the building. Thick- ened flat glass, light and transparent, defines the access to the pavilion and also sets the limits to the surrounding environment.

The fundamental argument used for this building where that the vast open spaces in the first level (basement), third level (outdoors) and the middle level, covered with a glass skin, provided timeless light and shadows result- ing in an atmosphere of tranquility and simplicity. An exterior ramp, which alludes to the eternal human desire to unravel the immemorial knowledge of life, transports users to the different spaces. First a vault containing major computer equipment for the student community, then in the proper body of the building, an area designed for this purpose, the richness of the acquits donated by Vladimir Kaspe, that also is the perfect setting for conferences or receiving long distance conferences from all around the world.
